| It's so easy to pick out just the right tree when you live at the source. We drove around one misty night, and stopped at the first lot we could find. It was at a parochial elementary school, so the money went to charity. They had beautiful trees, so all we had to do is find the right height. Deanna picked out our first-ever fresh wreath, which we put over the mantle. I asked if we could buy one of the stumps that had a lot of branches so I could make garlands, and they gave it to us for free. |
