All my CS195 classmates and I had websites on a server at Lane Community College.
Then one day, some hot-shot goucho (from Brazil the lab aides suspect) "broke in" and deleted everything. If s/he was trying to show off, no one is impressed. We had NO security on this server, just faith in the kindness of strangers. Blanche DuBois had nothing over us. So someday, I'll restore the absolutely outstanding web pages I had there -- but on a different server. I promise. Christie |
